In-Store Pickup Orders

How will I be charged for an In-Store Pickup order?

  • Payment is a breeze online when you book your order.

  • Need to tweak or cancel your order? Contact the store directly.

How will I know when my order is ready to be picked up?

  • We’ll send you a snazzy email or text notification! Most orders are ready the same day unless you’re cutting it close to store closing—then they’re ready the next day. (Pro tip: plan ahead during busy seasons.)

What do I need to pick up my order?

  • Just bring your pickup notification email (printed or on your phone) and a government-issued ID. Easy peasy!

Where do I pick up my order?

  • Check your email for pickup details. Look for the designated Pickup Counter—we’ll be waiting!

How long will my order be held?

  • We’ll hold your treasure for 3 calendar days as is. After that, it’s a pumpkin at midnight and will be canceled. Questions? Call us!

What if I need to cancel my order?

  • Ring us up with your store pickup order number. Heads up: Balloon orders are non-refundable if canceled within 48 hours of the scheduled pickup time.

Why are some stores or products unavailable for Pickup?

  • Inventory and location quirks might make certain items unavailable.

Can I use PayPal for In-Store Pickup?

  • We’re all about options: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover are accepted.

Can I schedule and pick up inflated balloons?

  • Absolutely! Schedule balloon pickups up to 90 days in advance. Select Pickup at checkout, then lock in your date and time.

 


Delivery Policies and Procedures

Thanks for Spreading Joy with Balloons!

  • Pop in your ZIP code and delivery date to check availability. If there’s a hiccup, we’ll let you know your options—reschedule, change the address, or cancel.

Non-Contact Deliveries

  • We aim for seamless, non-contact deliveries. We’ll confirm details before prepping your order. If we can’t connect, you’ll hear from us!

  • Someone needs to be home to receive balloons. For outdoor drop-offs, we’ll confirm someone can bring them indoors to keep them safe and sound.

Product and Service Complaints

  • Got an issue? Let us know within 3 days of delivery! Send photos of defective balloons with your order number to info@topnotchballooncreation.com

Anonymous Deliveries

  • Mystery fans, take note: we don’t offer anonymous deliveries. The sender’s name will be revealed upon request if it’s not on the greeting card.

Balloon Releases

  • We’re all about being eco-friendly! No balloon releases here—ask us about fun, safe alternatives instead.

 

Residential Deliveries

Standard Procedures

  • Surprise! Someone must accept the balloons in person. Special arrangements make the magic happen.

Doorman Buildings

  • Doormen are lifesavers! We’ll confirm they can accept the delivery.

Homes and Non-Doorman Buildings

  • We’ll set up a delivery time by phone. If we can’t connect, the sender decides—reschedule or cancel without penalties.

Special Delivery Time Frames

  • We aim for precision, but specific times depend on recipient coordination.

If No One Is Available

  • Balloons return to us, additional charges apply, and undeliverable orders are non-refundable. Let’s avoid this, shall we?

We currently offer local delivery to select ZIP codes in order to maintain a high standard of service and reliability.

Approved Delivery ZIP Codes

Delivery is available only to the following ZIP codes at this time:

  • 48167 – Northville city/township

  • 48168 – Northville (extended)

  • 48374–48376 – Novi

  • 48170 – Plymouth

  • 48165 – New Hudson (Lyon Twp)

  • 48178 – South Lyon (Lyon Twp)

  • 48393 – Wixom (Lyon Twp)

  • 48381 – Milford (Lyon Twp)

  • 48139 – Hamburg Twp (Brighton area)

  • 48105 – Salem Twp / Ann Arbor region

  • 48175 – Salem (Washtenaw)

  • 48166 – Newport (Monroe County)

If your delivery address falls within one of the approved ZIP codes, you will be able to select "Delivery" during checkout.


Specific Delivery Scenarios

  1. School Deliveries

    • Check with the school’s policies first. Mylar balloons are typically a-okay, but latex might be a no-go. Balloons head to the front office.

  2. College Deliveries

    • Share detailed instructions, including dorm or mailroom info. Balloon Planet isn’t responsible if the recipient forgets to pick up their balloons—boo!

  3. Hotel Deliveries

    • Balloons are entrusted to hotel staff (concierge, front desk, etc.). After that, it’s in the hotel—handle with care, team!

  4. Secure Facilities

    • Authorized personnel handle deliveries (receptionist, mail clerk, security). Once we’ve delivered, it’s the recipient’s turn.

  5. Hospital Deliveries

    • Mylar balloons are hospital-approved; latex balloons, not so much. If a patient is discharged or balloons are refused, additional charges or cancellations might apply. Let’s plan accordingly!
